This recipe was sent to us by Dick VanKuiken of Grandville, Michigan. He combines our Champagne Mustard, Garlic Seasoning (or No Salt Garlic'n Herbs) for a delicious mushroom dish that can be served as a side or as a complement to steak or chicken! Here's what Dick had to say about our products:
"You should be ashamed of yourselves for creating such a good product! These mushrooms are absolutely delicious because of the Champagne Mustard. I also dip some cheddar cheese in the Champagne Mustard. I could easily eat the entire jar at one time!"
- 1 TBSP. Canola or Olive Oil
- 1 TBSP. Balsamic Vinegar
- 1 TBSP. Sugar
- 1 TBSP. Cherchies® Garlic Seasoning or No Salt Garlic'n Herbs Seasoning
- 1 Tsp. Soy Sauce
- 1 Tsp. Salt (optional or to taste)
- 1/2 Tsp. Black Pepper
- 1 Tsp. Cherchies® Champagne Mustard
- 8 oz. Fresh Sliced Mushrooms
Mix the first eight ingredients and stir well. Put all of the mixture into a frying pan. Add 8 oz. of fresh mushrooms and simmer for 5 minutes. Do not overcook. Serve immediately.
Makes approx. 3 - 4 servings
