Champagne Chicken Recipe

I am always looking for new and easy chicken recipes.  The Champagne Mustard adds a nice zing to this chicken dish.  For a more festive version of this recipe, try using our Cranberry Mustard in place of the Champagne Mustard and wow your guests!

Ingredients

Preparation

Season chicken with salt and pepper. Melt butter in large frying pan and saute chicken 6 to 8 minutes until lightly browned.

Lower heat. Remove chicken. Stir flour into drippings. Slowly add broth, stirring to make a smooth sauce. Slowly add light cream, stirring constantly. Stir in Cherchies® Champagne Mustard and cook until sauce bubbles. Return chicken to pan and spoon sauce over each piece. Cover and simmer 10 minutes. Serve over rice.

Denise King of Southlake, Texas won our recipe of the month with her "Best Pork Chops Ever with Parmesan Cheese & Champagne Mustard".

This is the best pork chop recipe, ever. You can also use this on chicken breasts. It is just dee-lish! This can also be used for all phases of the South Beach Diet.

Best Ever Pork Chops Recipe

Ingredients

Preparation

Preheat oven to 400º F. Line a baking sheet with aluminum foil and set aside.

Season the pork chops with pepper. In a small bowl, whisk together mustard, oil, and remaining spices and brush mixture onto both sides. Press the grated Parmesan cheese into both sides of the chops (I am pretty liberal with the cheese. I like a thick coating but a thin one will work, too.) Place the chops on the baking sheet. Bake for approximately 20 minutes, or until coating is browned and the chops are cooked. For a slightly crispier texture, broil for one minute.

Honey & Whiskey Champagne Talapia Recipe

Ingredients

Preparation

Make a sauce mixing the honey, whiskey and Cherchies® Champagne Mustard together. Stir until blended.

Heat a non-stick skillet over medium heat. Do not overheat the skillet. Pour the honey mixture into the skillet and place the tilapia fillets onto the mixture. Saute a couple of minutes on each side without overcooking.

Allow the honey mixture to slightly deglaze (thicken). Plate the fillet and drizzle remaining thickened sauce over the fillet.

Serves 2 - 3.
