I love DIY projects!  I especially love to make olive oils infused with fresh herbs from my garden.

This time, I wanted to try our gourmet seasoning blends in place of fresh herbs.   The result...amazing!

Add 1-2 Tablespoons of one of our seasoning blends (here I used Cherchies® Lem 'n Pepper and Cherchies® Garlic Seasoning) to a glass bottle.  (I found 8 oz. glass dispensers at my local Target, complete with pouring spout).

Next add 1-2 Tablespoons of water to bottle and allow spices to sit for 8-10 minutes (this will rehydrate the spices and release their flavors).

For the finishing touch, add the olive oil.  (You can fill to the top.  I filled my bottle half way to show off the spices).    

This would be the perfect homemade gift for the cook in your life.  In addition to an infused cooking oil, this also would be the perfect dipping oil for bread.   Add a little vinegar, and you have the perfect viniagrette!
